About us
We’re two creatives residing in the Quandamooka/Moreton Bay region, with two decades experience in the arts and crafts.
Damian creates treenware (that’s woodwork for the kitchen), writes and illustrates our cards, and fits in a little leather and smithy work in his ‘spare time’ (HaHahahaha…). He was a cobbler’s apprentice, fruit-picker, animator, illustrator, and cartoonist, amongst other ill-timed/exciting careers, depending on one’s point of view.
Michelle creates leather goods, wooden spoons, and is no stranger to the anvil and forge. She worked in hospitality while at Art school, and joined Damian crafting leatherwork, before returning to university to study and work in web development. Having devoted enough of her life to the screen gods, she’s returned to craft, though still makes sure to swear repeatedly at wordpress at least once a month.
When not busy creating or selling our wares at local markets, we’re involved in progressive environmental and political initiatives, trying to leave the world no worse than we found it.
No forced labour. No sweatshops.

We run our business as we believe all should be; thinking globally, and acting locally. We buy and support local and sustainable wherever possible, and when local isn't an option (as in the case of metal buckles and handles) we either make our own, or source them from other small and ethical makers in Europe.
Thinking globally, and supporting local.
