Timeless slow fashion goods.

Our leather is sourced from a local, family owned tannery. We use their kangaroo hides, the animals culled to prevent overgrazing and starvation. Shooters are strictly monitored to renew their licenses, and only a small range of species that are over-abundant are used.

We source local cowhides, avoiding imports where the treatment of animals, workers - and the local environment - are not monitored. These hides are cured from bovines used for their meat (rather than those raised solely for their leather), and by making quality, long-lasting goods, we believe this a more ethical approach than using plastic pleather (now referred to as "vegan leather"), typically made by exploited workers for the fast fashion industry. Slow, ethical, biodegradable fashion seems to us the more humane option.

Our solid brass buckles come from two European small businesses with labour, ethical and environmental standards, and the iron hardware we forge ourselves start as off-cuts from a local steelworks. Even our thread, zippers, and buffing wax are German and Japanese made, respectively.
